Over the course of
Trenton Polke’s college career at the Farmer School of Business at Miami
University of Ohio, he realized the true importance of higher education. Of
course, Trenton Polke always knew that he should and would go to college to
further his education, but it was not until he actually went away to Miami
University that he realized exactly why.
As a high school
student, Trenton Polke certainly had a few job opportunities available to him.
However, once he went to college, Trenton Polke noticed that opportunities were
opening up left and right. Trenton Polke had immediate access to a network of
professors and peers, many of whom continue to hold highly esteemed positions,
and all of whom could help him find work that suited his needs and interests.
In fact, as a Finance major at the Farmer School of Business, Trenton Polke
found an internship as a financial analyst which awarded him with some of his
most cherished experience in the working world as an undergraduate student.
For Trenton Polke,
college was not only about finding opportunities during his college career. As
a matter of fact, Trenton Polke realized that obtaining a degree would
ultimately be the key to finding his dream job and pursuing his field of
choice, which is business.
As it turns out, in
the world of business, Trenton Polke realized it doesn’t matter whether you are
interested in owning and running a small business or working for a larger
company, because no experience in the field will trump having a college degree.
It was for this reason that Trenton Polke decided to pursue his degree in
business at the highly ranked Farmer School of Business at Miami University.
Trenton Polke knew what he wanted to do, and college was the key to finally
achieving his dream.
